Every human should be privileged to have regular access to basic human needs such as clean water, food, and shelter. However, nearly half of the world’s population is faced with an inconsistent accessibility to such basic human needs. The focus I would have for a changecamp event would be to find solutions to these basic challenges of survival that individuals in less developed countries face on a daily basis.
The first step to bring about change in these countries would be to raise awareness to the other half of the world’s population. Increasing awareness encourages the more fortunate portion of people to redesign their current lifestyle. Changes that can be made include participating in raising awareness campaigns, to donate money, and to use resources to its fullest etc.
